WATCH: Hey Day Baby set to step up in trip again as she heads back to Uttoxeter
She was last seen on the track at Uttoxeter at the start of June, when she made her chasing debut over three miles. Things didn't quite pan out for her that day, as she needed to be pulled up before four fences out, but it was later discovered that she had bled which is why she underperformed. The team at Jackdaws Castle had her checked over for infections and were pleased to report that she had no lingering issues following the checks.
Since recovering, Hey Day Baby has been putting in some good work on the gallops at home in the build-up to her return, and Jonjo & A J O'Neill felt as though she was ready to return this month following that.
Ten pound claimer Benjamin Macey takes the reins again, having done so on her chasing debut as well.
