Lady Mendoza is set to return to action this weekend, at her most frequented racecourse of Cartmel, after having just over a month off of the track. 

After running at Uttoxeter in mid-July, Rebecca Menzies made the decision not to turn Lady Mendoza around quickly and wait until the end of the three week break in the jumps calendar before looking for her next engagement. Cartmel's end of season card was soon identified as the next step for Lady Mendoza following the break, as it's a course she's ran at on several occasions before and has been a venue that she's performed well at before.
