'The intention is still to get her out again before too long' – latest Hey Day Baby update

25 May 2023
Hey Day Baby

Hey Day Baby is in great form and has been back in steady work, which is cantering really, for a week or so and she’s taking it all in her stride, which is great news.

We’d be looking to step up her work next week, which would mean faster work, but in the meantime it’s about stepping up her fitness levels again gradually.

As long as everything goes well when we gallop her, we would then be in a position to look for potential races for her. The drier weather means we’d be looking for races at tracks that offer good, safe summer ground with some ease in it. We wouldn’t want to run her on anything too quick, but the intention is still to get her out again before too long.
