WATCH: Hey Day Baby on the gallops at Jackdaws – plus the latest update from Jonjo O'Neill

Hey Day Baby worked earlier in the week as usual as you can see in the latest video.

We’re continuing to build towards her first run, but the last thing we wanted was this latest cold spell. She’s only a young mare, and the constant changing temperatures aren’t helpful after her recent virus.

We don’t want to put her under too much pressure at this early stage of her career, so we’ll take our time with her, and give her a couple more pieces of serious work at least before we look for a race for her.

Fillies and mares in particular can benefit from some warmer weather, so when the sun does appear, it could bring her on no end, so we're definitely looking forward to the spring.
