Hey Day Baby takes step in the right direction with 4th place finish at Fontwell – update from Jonjo O'Neill

10 May 2024
Hey Day Baby
Hey Day Baby got lit up after the first hurdle when there was a loose horse and ended up running too keen.

Despite it taking a bit of sting out of her early on, she ran quite well. It was a step forward in the right direction and the main thing is, she is grand after the run.

Jack [Hogan] seems to think she will be much better as a chaser, and that has been our thinking for some time. We have schooled her over fences, and she has taken to them well. I think her next run will come in a chase and we hope she can settle a little better.
