Our three-year-old filly, Katalyst, has been off the track since December last year having finished up in 2025 with five runs under her belt after making her debut back in August.

After her final run as a two-year-old at Southwell on December 19th, trainer Chris Grassick decided to send her off for a well deserved winter break with a view to return in spring of this year after she'd had more time to develop and grow. He believed that a change of scenery would benefit her during this time and with Carisbrooke Stud, where his father is the director, being a mere ten minutes away, he decided to move her there with others from the yard.

Since the turn of the year, she's been on the walker to help keep her fitness ticking over, but it won't be long before she heads back to the main yard at Linkslade Stables to begin some more intense work as she builds towards her first racecourse appearance of the year.
