WATCH: Katalyst hits the gallops as she prepares for her third start and Chris Grassick updates us on her progress
Katalyst worked in the centre with Mohaab on the far side and an unraced colt by Far Above on the near side. We made the decision to work her in the middle of two other horses without cheekpieces just to help her learn to be comfortable without the headgear on when there are other horses racing alongside her. Ultimately, this should help to make her more comfortable if she's short of room on the racecourse in future, as she won't be surprised by what's going on in that eventuality.
Katalyst is carrying significantly more weight than the other two horses in the work, which almost certainly means she was going better than her partners on the day. Everyone's really happy with the work she's been putting in and she's looking great ahead of next week's run at Southwell.
