Katalyst's fourth-place finish in last night's 20:30 at Windsor barely scratches the surface of what was another hugely encouraging performance!

Breaking smartly from the stalls, Katalyst was quickly into her stride and showed plenty of enthusiasm when comfortably taking up the early lead. She travelled really well, with real purpose throughout the opening stages and appeared much more relaxed and engaged than on her previous run at Nottingham.

Jockey Ryan Kavanagh was delighted with the pair's performance and commented on just how much easier she was to ride compared with her previous run. Their growing partnership continues to flourish and it's clear that Ryan knows her extremely well, allowing Katalyst to settle into a lovely rhythm and find her stride.

Windsor's unique figure-of-eight layout and undulating nature can be a difficult track for inexperienced horses to master. Despite that, Katalyst stuck to her task admirably and kept trying all the way to the line. Both jockey, Ryan, and trainer, Chris Grassick, see this as yet another significant step forward in her development and we're absolutely thrilled with the progress she continues to make.

It is easy to see how much confidence she has gained from her last two runs alone. She is beginning to race with far greater self-belief and enthusiasm, travelling with purpose and clearly enjoying her racing. She looked happy throughout the contest and attacked the race with real positivity, which is exactly what we had hoped to see. It is hugely encouraging to watch her confidence continue to grow and we're excited to see how much further she can progress.

Having raced twice in recent weeks on firm summer ground, Katalyst will now enjoy a well-earned break while we consider her next target. She will undoubtedly have come on again for this run and there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about what lies ahead.

We're thrilled with her continued improvement and very much look forward to seeing what she can achieve next.
