Unfortunately Lady Mendoza has suffered from a blister underneath one of her hooves which has ruled her out of Saturday's intended race at Uttoxeter.

Rebecca Menzies had been keen on getting our mare back out on the track as soon as possible following her promising run at Cartmel and subsequent good work at home. However, this minor injury will mean she'll be on the sidelines for a few weeks.

All being well she should be back on the racecourse soon and can hopefully take another step forward following that positive performance just a few weeks ago.
