The Coral Racing Club are set to hit another landmark on Thursday night, as Phoenix Of Dreams will become our 200th runner in the 20:15 contest at Gosforth Park!

Phoenix Of Dreams has been steadily improving over the last few months, as he continues to string together solid performances in every appearance. Having finished third in two of his last three starts, including when stepping back up in trip to seven furlongs last time out, he's clearly benefitted from an uninterrupted period of being able to race twice a month. Although the fifth place finish in between those two thirds might look a little weaker on paper, he wasn't beaten far and clearly showed some improvement throughout the race. 

Phoenix Of Dreams will be partnered by his usual rider, Jason Hart, for the big occasion, which should give him the best opportunity to be played to his strengths on the straight course at Newcastle.
