WATCH: Phoenix Of Dreams aiming for back-to-back victories over seven furlongs at Newcastle
Phoenix Of Dreams impressed us all on his last start, where he put in a gutsy performance to get his head down on the line and win by a short head. Sean Quinn confirmed to us following the race that Phoenix Of Dreams was in great condition coming out of the contest and that it wouldn't be too long before he was back out on track looking for his second success of 2026.
It didn't take long for the Highfield Stables team to identify the perfect opportunity, back over the same course & distance that he won over two weeks ago, for Phoenix Of Dreams' next engagement. He is up in grade, from Class 6 to Class 5, following his two pound rise in the handicaps, meaning that he won't be running off of top weight this time, and should filter in somewhere in the middle of the weights on the day.
