The wait is almost over as Phoenix Of Dreams is set to make his long-awaited return to the racecourse after being declared to run at Ayr on Saturday.

Having enjoyed plenty of time to strengthen and fully recover over the summer, the five-year-old has been building his fitness steadily at home. His preparation has been carefully managed and he is in super form; catching the eye in his recent work and leaving the team excited to see him back in competitive action.

Phoenix Of Dreams will be partnered by the vastly experienced Dougie Costello, a jockey with more than 1,000 career winners to his name. His race-craft and experience make him an excellent rider to guide our popular young chap upon his return.

While it's always encouraging to have a run under the belt after a break, everyone is looking forward to seeing Phoenix Of Dreams back doing what he loves. It's an exciting moment for Coral Racing Club members and we can't wait to cheer him on as he gets his campaign back underway at Ayr this weekend!
