Phoenix Of Dreams is set to head to Newcastle for just the second time in his career on Tuesday, after being declared in the 19:15 race on the card.

After outlining a couple of options last week, at Southwell and Chelmsford, John & Sean Quinn realised that there was a further race that would suit, on the straight track at Newcastle. In his one appearance there, Phoenix Of Dreams finished just a neck back in third, behind a pair of rivals now rated 92 and 83. Although that race was towards the start of his career, the Quinns believe that getting him back to a straight course could be beneficial, with a lot of his better form coming on tracks without bends.

Jason Hart is set to ride Phoenix Of Dreams, and has experience of riding winners for the Coral Racing Club at Gosforth Park, having guided Cast No Shadow to victory there previously.
