We're delighted with how much he's enjoying his work – latest Phoenix Of Dreams update

Phoenix Of Dreams

We are all really happy with how Phoenix Of Dreams is developing, and he really is maturing into a fine strapping horse.

We haven’t galloped him at home yet he’s still only cantering, but we’re delighted with how much he’s enjoying his work. He’s been tackling it with plenty of enthusiasm and showing a really nice attitude which is what you want to see with these younger horses.

We won’t rush him at all, but hopefully we’ll step up his work over the next few weeks, and I’d say he should do some fast work on the gallops before the end of the month with the view to having him on the track at some stage in November. We’ll take a view on it nearer the time, but I suspect he’ll start at either seven furlongs or a mile, and we’ll find out more with regards to that when he starts galloping and we step up his work.

We are all really looking forward to meeting the Coral Racing Club members this weekend for our stable visit, and we can’t wait for you to see first-hand how well he’s developing.
