We gave Phoenix Of Dreams plenty of time following his last little setback, but he's been back in full work for a couple of weeks now. 

We're very happy with where we are with him, he's exactly where we want him as we approach his return. He did a nice piece of work last week, he's as fit as we'd want him to be at this stage and he's firmly on track for a return to action next week.

We've had a race at Southwell on Friday 19th December in mind for him and we're on target for that. It's a 0-70 handicap over six furlongs, so he now gets into that rating band having had his mark dropped four pounds from 74. His last couple of runs have been over five furlongs, but we think a step back up to six will help him, they should just go a yard slower early on and help him travel into the race. 

He's run at Southwell once before and ran a nice race to finish second over the six furlongs, so we know he handles it. We'll make the entry later this week and hopefully have a clear run with him between now and the 19th to make up for lost time.
