Phoenix Of Dreams back on track after stalls test
There’s some very good news to share from the Phoenix Of Dreams camp, with our boy successfully passing his stalls test at Catterick.
Following his uncharacteristic mishap in the stalls at Ayr, Phoenix Of Dreams has been doing some additional work at home. Both John and the team felt that what happened that day was completely out of character for him but before he could return to the racecourse, he was required to complete an official stalls test.
With that in mind, the team were keen to get everything sorted as quickly as possible and Phoenix Of Dreams headed to Catterick at lunchtime yesterday to complete the test. We’re delighted to report that he passed with flying colours, putting that little bump in the road firmly behind him.
As a result of completing the test, Phoenix Of Dreams will now be loaded late into the stalls for the next 12 months, with the starters continuing to monitor and review him during that period.
Getting the test successfully completed means attention can now turn back to what really matters – planning his next steps and looking ahead to a return to action.
The team felt it was particularly important to get this done ahead of the weekend and it’s fantastic to have everything resolved so quickly. Hopefully, we can now look forward to a much smoother autumn with Phoenix Of Dreams and plenty more to come from our lovely boy.
For now, it’s very much job done at Catterick and onwards for Phoenix Of Dreams!
