WATCH: Phoenix Of Dreams gets off the mark with comfortable win at Redcar | Raceday Highlights
Trainers John & Sean Quinn have always had high hopes for our three-year-old gelded son of Phoenix Of Spain, and as he became the Club's 101st runner, he duly obliged as we'd hoped for when going off as the 1/10 favourite.
Having hit the crossbar on three consecutive occasions in the summer behind some talented horses, we knew the time had to come for Phoenix Of Dreams, it was just a matter of when and where. Following the success, we've now hit double digits in terms of winners for the Club, adding to our 16 placed efforts and taking the total prize money shared by Coral Racing Club members to £89,900, which is a fantastic achievement.
Jockey Jason Hart was just as pleased as we were to finally get the win on Phoenix Of Dreams having been his partner in seven of his now eight career starts to date. In his post-race interview, Jason echoed the sentiment of Phoenix Of Dreams being 'ever so consistent' and it being 'great to finally get a win under his belt'. No jockey has ridden more times for the Coral Racing Club than Jason (11), so we were just as happy for him to be the one to be onboard Phoenix Of Dreams as he entered the winners enclosure on Monday afternoon.

Trainers John & Sean Quinn informed us that Phoenix Of Dreams is in good form following the race, but they'll give it a few more days to see how he is then before giving some more thought to his next steps.
Stay tuned for the next update from Highfield Stables.
