Phoenix Of Dreams primed for return to the track
The wait is almost over for Phoenix Of Dreams, with the Coral Racing Club favourite closing in on a return to the racecourse after enjoying a well-earned mid-season break.
Earlier in the year, our five-year-old put together a series of highly encouraging performances, getting his head in front with a determined success at Southwell before following up with two credible third-place finishes. Those runs showcased his consistency, battling attitude and ability to remain competitive, giving the team plenty to build on as they looked ahead to the second half of the season.

Rather than rushing him back, the decision was made to give Phoenix Of Dreams the opportunity to freshen up and that patience appears to have paid off. He has returned to training in fantastic order, looking stronger, fitter and full of enthusiasm as preparations have gathered pace for his return.
He's really been catching the eye in his work at home recently and the team are excited to get him back on the track under conditions that should suit. Everything he has done in recent weeks has been full of promise and there's a real feeling that he's ready to pick up where he left off.
Phoenix Of Dreams currently holds entries at both Haydock on Friday 7th August and Ayr the following day, with the team keeping their options open until later in the week. Ultimately, the weather is expected to make the final decision, with whichever track that receives the most rain being likely to provide the most suitable conditions for his return.
Wherever he lines up, it is fantastic to have Phoenix Of Dreams back racing. He has come through his break brilliantly, is in excellent form at home and everyone at the Coral Racing Club is looking forward to cheering him on once again.
