WATCH: Tidal Force puts in some stalls work ahead of his Haydock debut next week

28 Aug 2026
Tidal Force has pleased me in his recent work, he’s really improved at home, and he’s showing he’s ready to start on the track.

I think he wants a mile, and Haydock should get rain this week, which won’t inconvenience him as he moves like he will handle some cut in the ground.

There are 32 initial entries for the race, as we’ve all been waiting for this easier ground, so we do need some luck to get into the race.

Fingers-crossed he does, as Haydock is a lovely place to start a horse off. and it’s also close to home, so he won’t face a long journey there on his first start. Fingers crossed he can hit the ground running and we can have a good campaign with him going into the autumn months.

Check out the video to see his latest piece of work in the stalls at home, as we build towards his debut racecourse start.
