Raceday LIVE Preview
Aspire To Glory has had a nice four-week break since we last saw him when finishing ninth at Kempton. Although the finishing position seems disappointing, there were certainly some positives to take from the run, especially given it was seven pound claimer Anna Gibson's first time riding him competitively.
He broke well from his wide draw and settled nicely in the middle of the pack, despite still showing signs of his usual keenness. It was a steadily run affair, which as we know doesn't really suit Aspire To Glory as he often likes to come through the pack late on, and at times Anna had a difficult time keeping him straight. When they turned for home, the pair came quite wide round the bend as Aspire To Glory looked to try and drag his way to the front too early.
Despite that, as they came down the home straight, they were still battling on with what seemed a chance of finishing in the places, but when push came to shove, Aspire To Glory was unable to pull out anymore and eventually came home down the field.

Anna Gibson retains the ride today, and there's no doubt her first experience onboard Aspire To Glory last time out will have done her the world of good in terms of getting a proper understanding of how he performs in a competitive contest compared to just riding him at home.
It's almost the same time last year when Aspire To Glory sprung into form when securing back-to-back victories for the Club, so hopefully with a better draw in stall three today and with Anna claiming her valuable seven pounds he can go close once again.

Check out the latest video update from trainer Alice Haynes which she sent us yesterday as she shares her thoughts on his chances in today's contest.
Trainer and Jockey Statistics
Alice Haynes has been in the winners enclosure on four occasions in the past two weeks, including a winner at today's course on the 26th October with Naana's Sparkle. That success marked her third of the campaign at Chelmsford, so hopefully she can go close to adding one more to that this afternoon.
Anna Gibson continues to learn her trade as an up and coming apprentice jockey, and today's ride on Aspire To Glory will be her first of the month after riding six times in October, including two top four finishes.
Aspire To Glory's Owners for the Day
As winners of the recent Owner for the Day competition, 10 lucky Coral Racing Club members have been given the chance to enjoy an exclusive owners experience for Aspire To Glory's run at Chelmsford this afternoon.
Each winner, along with a guest of their choosing, will receive free entry to Chelmsford Racecourse, including exclusive access to Owners & Trainers areas. They'll have the opportunity to meet Aspire To Glory and the Alice Haynes team, plus get to head into the parade ring before the race begins to be amongst all the other owners, trainers and jockeys. And last but by no means least, each winner will get to take home an equal 10% split of any prize money won by Aspire To Glory.

Today's Class 6 contest is worth £7,000 in total, with the winner set to scoop £3,664 for their lucky owners.
