Raceday LIVE Preview
Greek Symphony is back in action this afternoon as she lines up in the 13:45 Fillies’ Nursery Handicap at Kempton.
Our two-year-old has been a model of consistency throughout her first season on the track, finishing in the first three on each of her five starts and getting her head in front at Lingfield in July. She arrives at Kempton following another excellent effort at Epsom last month where she finished third in a desperately tight finish, beaten by just a neck, with only a head separating the first three home.
Greek Symphony steps up to a mile for the first time this afternoon and is returning to the all-weather, which has already proved to be a happy hunting ground for our filly.
What is Greek Symphony up against?
It looks like another competitive nursery with several in-form fillies among the opposition.
Forest Berry arrives in particularly good form having won her last two starts at Wolverhampton and Musselburgh while Andrew Balding’s Pequenita has progressed with each of her three runs so far and finished second over a mile on her latest appearance. Love Tanya is another consistent performer and lines up from the same mark of 73 as Greek Symphony having finished in the first three on each of her three starts. There is also a familiar face in Crazy Cubana who Greek Symphony finished ahead of when winning at Lingfield in July whilst Woodhay Wayfarer has already shown winning form over today’s mile trip.
With plenty of solid form amongst the field it will be another good test for Greek Symphony as she bids to continue what has been an impressively consistent start to her racing career.
Stay tuned to Raceday LIVE throughout the afternoon for all the latest updates from Kempton.
