The Making of a Racehorse (Introduction): Where did they come from?

06 May 2024

In our latest Behind The Scenes exclusive, we're joined by Veterinarian Clive Hamblin for an exclusive three-part series – The Making of a Racehorse.

To kick things off, Clive introduces the evolution of horses, from where it all began in the sea around 450 million years ago, to when horses first started to be domesticated about 6,000 – 7,000 years ago.

Following that, we'll be releasing three mini videos per episode over the next three weeks, featuring Clive as he dives into detail on three of the most important components of a racehorse, highlighting what truly makes them one of the most supreme athletes in the world today.
