Aspire To Glory returns to action today for his second run for the Coral Racing Club in the 13:30 Restricted Maiden Stakes at Chelmsford.

Race Preview
Aspire To Glory broke well from the stalls on his debut over 5f at Doncaster last month, but from there on out everything just happened too quickly for him. Trainer Alice Haynes explained in the post-race update that it was very much like a first day at school for him and that he'd come on massively from his 'babyish' performance.
She took the decision to geld him following that outing, with the belief that this would help him concentrate on the task at hand. You can watch her explain the reason behind the decision here.
Alice has been in remarkable form with her 2yo runners this season, recording 9 winners from 30 runners at a 30% strike-rate. The latest of which came in a similar contest here at Chelmsford earlier in the month when jockey Thore Hammer Hansen, who takes the reins on Aspire To Glory today, rode Guns And Flowers to victory over 6f.
Thore has been in excellent form himself recently, with a strike-rate of 29% in the last fortnight. That included a comfortable victory in a Group 3 contest at Dortmund on Sunday.
Ralph Beckett saddles the market leader, Starlust, who caught the eye when finishing 5th on debut. James Tate trains two in the field for owner Saeed Manana, both of whom are prominent in the betting, including Lightning Point who finished third behind two horses that have impressed since.
