All The Glory's bounces back to form with impressive display at Windsor on Winter Millions weekend | Raceday Highlights
It's safe to say that up until Friday, All The Glory's first season over fences wasn't quite going to plan. However, that was all about to change on a bright, but chilly, day at Windsor.
All The Glory was installed as the outsider of the nine strong field, with previous rivals Bluey and Hollygrove Cha Cha reopposing once again who'd finished well ahead of her last time out. As the starter dropped his flag, Jonjo O'Neill Jr appeared to have a strong grip of All The Glory, who looked to want to go quicker than the pace that they initially took off at, but the jockey remained calm and tucked her in towards the rear of the field to give her plenty of cover and to settle her into the race.
She travelled sweetly throughout and the pair started to make progress through the field with four flights left to take. All The Glory increasingly began to catch the eye as she picked off her rivals one by one to move to the lead with two fences to jump. As they approached the last, our recently turned nine-year-old looked to be going the best, but was outjumped by both Bluey and Largy Force and was headed as the well-clear trio made their way up the run-in.
As they hit the line, it looked as though All The Glory may have claimed 2nd place, but after a photo was called to confirm, it was announced that Coral Racing Ambassador Sean Bowen had just done enough to pip us onboard Largy Force. The third place finish was still a superb result for the club, and especially for All The Glory's 10 owners for the day who got to share £5,960 with each getting a 10% split.

All things considered, it was an excellent run by our mare and a brilliant piece of training by Jonjo and AJ who had picked the race out as a target at the beginning of December. The step up in trip to 2m4f from 2m/2m1½f proved to make a huge difference to allow her more time to get into a rhythm and utilise her stamina.
We caught up with Jonjo & AJ the morning after the race and they told us that they were delighted with the way she bounced back to form and that she'd come out of the race in great order.

The father-son duo will have a look at the schedule over the next few weeks to see where her next potential engagement could be, as we head towards the business end of the National Hunt season this spring.
