WATCH: Aspire To Glory declared for Chelmsford's opener this Thursday
It will be Aspire To Glory's first time tackling the mile trip, having only previously raced over shorter, including attempts over five, six and seven furlongs.
Trainer Alice Haynes has had the mile trip in mind for a little while now, but it's just been a case of giving Aspire To Glory the right amount of time to continue learning his job on the track before making the move.
Previous jockey and regular rider for Alice, Kieran O'Neill, has been booked to ride again, which is great news.
On Thursday we'll be releasing an exclusive video on the Coral Racing Club and across the Coral social channels with Kieran O'Neill, where he talks all about how he got into racing and about his interesting career so far.
As a result of his 5th place finish at Chelmsford last time out. Aspire To Glory has been dropped another 2lb, so he'll be running off a mark of 52.
