Ffos Las the target for Aspire To Glory's first handicap run – latest from Alice Haynes
Having run a nice race at Yarmouth last time, we weren’t disappointed with the opening handicap mark of 59 that the handicapper has given Aspire To Glory.
We think that’s very workable with nurseries in mind, and the fact he’s seemingly learning all the time is a major asset when it comes to running in handicaps, as we can expect more improvement.
He is in good order having had an easy week after that last run, and in doing so we have got him nicely freshened up for his next race. He has physically come on again from the Yarmouth run, and at this stage we’re looking at a six furlong race at Ffos Las on the 31st July as a potential starting point in nurseries.
As I say, we feel he is well-handicapped and we should have some fun with him, which we’re looking forward to sharing with you all.
