Alice Haynes eyes up Kempton and a step up in trip for Aspire To Glory's next run
We were really pleased with Aspire To Glory’s most recent piece of homework, which was over the full seven furlongs that we’re looking to run him over next time out.
We worked him with two other stablemates, sitting him last of the trio to start with, before asking him to finish off nicely, which he did.
In terms of the next race, we’re looking at Kempton on Friday 8th September. It’s a seven furlongs nursery handicap for horses rated 0–60, on the all-weather there. He’s strengthening up all the time, which should help him see out the trip fully, and as I say we’re really happy with how he’s coming along. So hopefully we’ll see his owners for the day there.
It was also lovely to meet those members who came to our yard and gallops in Newmarket at the weekend, I hope you all managed to back a winner or two at the races in the afternoon as well!
