Cave Article is a five-year-old gelded son of Court Cave and Marys Article, who was foaled on April 9th 2019, and he will be in the care of the club's new trainer, Christian Williams.

He made his debut in a point-to-point at Fairyhouse in April 2023, and although he was pulled up on that occasion, he left that effort well behind when finishing runner-up on his next start at Ballycrystal in October.
