Diamond Days set to make his bumper debut at the end of the month as he continues to impress in his work
The more I think about it, the more his gallop at Salisbury impressed me, as he was working with experienced horses, and what I like is he’s got a bit of pace about him, he’s not a galloper who takes his time to get going.
The plan was always to start him off in a Bumper, and we’ve got a race in Wincanton in mind on October 27th. It’s our local track, and a lovely place to start a horse off, particularly one with a touch of speed, like this fellow.
We’ll put him in that, and also look at Newton Abbot on the 30th as a back up in case he didn’t get into the first race. Again it’s a lovely track for a young horse. We’ll work to Wincanton, the timing of both races works well, and we’ll look forward to his debut.
