Diamond Days is doing a lot of core fitness work at the moment and a lot of that is slow canters over a couple of miles.

This is crucial work as it will build up his fitness, and we have seen a lot of progress in him over the last couple of weeks. Later this month, we will increase the tempo and he will be doing some faster gallops.

We obviously don’t want to rush him as he is a lovely horse. The most encouraging thing I can report is he is enjoying his work, and he has a laid-back personality. These horses are always a pleasure to train.
