WATCH: Katalyst declared for her first run of 2026 as Phoenix Of Dreams also gets the green light for a quick return to action on Tuesday
Firstly, we're set to head to Southwell for Phoenix Of Dreams' eighth run of the year where trainers John & Sean Quinn will be hoping for a change of luck after a couple of efforts which didn't quite his way. The Class 5 contest at 17:42 is set to feature just seven runners, including two previous C&D winners, and that will be the smallest field he's ran in since his breakthrough win back in 2024. Regular pilot Jason Hart is unavailable on Monday, so Oisin Orr will take the ride and his record for the team at Highfield Stables is very much one to note.
Just over two hours later we'll get to see Katalyst make her first run as a three-year-old in the Class 6 Handicap (19:50) over a mile at Lingfield for the William Muir & Chris Grassick team. She was very much still learning her trade last year, but with more experience, we're hopeful she can take a good step forward throughout the summer. Young superstar jockey, Billy Loughnane, has been booked to ride which will be his first in the Coral Racing Club silks.
Join us on Tuesday for our Raceday LIVE Preview on both races, including the latest updates from each of the trainers and expert race analysis from Chris Dixon.
