WATCH: Lady Mendoza declared for a trip to Scotland as she drops back into novice company for her second run of the season
She made her seasonal reappearance in May, finishing a solid third at Cartmel only two lengths behind the eventual winner of the race. She was entered to run at Uttoxeter at the start of June, following the promising start to her season, but a blister on one of her hooves postponed her return to the track.
Trainer Rebecca Menzies is happy with how she's trained since recovering from the injury, and despite having plans for a return back at Cartmel later in the month, Menzies spotted this race at Perth as being too good an opportunity to turn down for her next run.
