"It’s been a quiet week for Lady Mendoza, and she hasn’t done anything too exciting, but I couldn’t be happier with how she’s coming along. She’s only done some steady cantering, but there’s plenty of time between now and her next possible race, so we are taking things nice and slow with her.

She’ll do plenty of schooling between now and then, just to keep her sharp more than anything, as she’s naturally very athletic and a good jumper. We’ll vary her work between our all-weather surface and the grass, and we may even give her a trip to Redcar Beach just to mix things up for her.

Overall, she’s ticking along nicely, and we can’t wait to see her back in action soon."
