Ribbon Is A Dancer back in full training after small setback over Christmas
He has been a little frustrating to train over the last few weeks as he has cut himself a couple of times, and you obviously have to give a horse the time it needs to heal.
We worked Ribbon Is A Dancer on our all-weather gallops earlier this week. He had a good blow in that workout, which will do him good. It was probably the first proper work we have done with him in over a month.
With an opening mark of 44, he should find life easier now. The biggest challenge may be getting him into a race, but we will keep an eye on the all-weather programme.
I don’t want to run him until he is fully fit again, so for now, we will keep working with him and his fitness should improve over the next few weeks.
