Raceday LIVE Preview
Aspire To Glory will be looking to bounce back today in his fourth turf start of the season at Chepstow following a difficult run at Leicester last time out. It was the first time in the gelding's career that he'd ran on ground with "firm" in the going description, and it was clear from the get go that he didn't enjoy the underfoot conditions.

Prior to his latest effort, Aspire To Glory had put in two positive runs on the turf, first finishing fourth on heavy ground at Leicester, and then second in good to soft conditions at Ripon, so we're hopeful he can get back on track this evening.
Trainer Alice Haynes told us in her latest update that she would be looking to turn him back out quickly, and Chepstow provided a perfect opportunity to get our two-time winner back out on turf, with rain hitting the track during the week meaning the going should suit Aspire To Glory well.
The going is set to be good to soft, following the rain over the last few days, and isn't set you change before or during racing.
Raceday message from Alice Haynes
"We felt this option was the better of the two for him with the Jack Channon horse well in under the penalty in the mile, and Aspire is versatile when it comes to his trip.
He won’t be inconvenienced by the good to soft ground over this trip and we’re delighted that Darragh can go to ride him. He’d be a bit shorter than his current price if he hadn’t run on the rapid ground at Leicester when he wasn’t able to get involved, and there’s every chance he’ll bounce back from that tonight.
Best of luck to everyone at the club and all of Aspire To Glory's Owners for the Day."

Trainer and Jockey Statistics
Alice Haynes has been in great form in the past few days, sending out three winners from 17 runners, with a further three placing. At Chepstow, Alice has a fantastic record having sent two winners from just five runners, and today will be her first runner of the season at the Welsh-based track.
Darragh Keenan's only winner in the last fortnight came six days ago in a six furlong handicap, however he has been kept busy recently, picking up rides for Gary and Josh Moore, Martin Dunne and Grace Harris amongst others. He's ridden two winners for Alice Haynes in his career from 25 rides, with one of those victories coming this year. Darragh has five wins from 68 rides at Chepstow, and has only had one ride there this season.
At The Races | Verdict
RINNOVATI got off the mark in impressive fashion over C&D 18 days ago and a 4lb rise may not be enough to stop the daughter of Churchill from following up. Arthur Rose has shown enough in novice company to suggest that she could go well now switched to handicaps, while Mullins Beach and Aspire To Glory are others who make the shortlist.
Today's opposition
- Mullins Beach comes into tonight's race off the back of a solid victory over six furlongs last month. That was the only win he's achieved in his career but has run some big races, finishing second three times and third three times. Jack Doughty rides claiming five pounds.
- Aspire To Glory's old foe Tres Chic lines up tonight and the three-year-old beat our gelding in a race at Leicester in May, however Tres Chic was seven pounds will in on Aspire To Glory that day and will line up tomorrow carrying one pound more. Regular partner Shariq Mohd takes the reins claiming five pounds.
- Rinnovati returns to the seven furlong trip at Chepstow, having won here over this distance when last seen. He's been raised three pounds for that near three length victory and Luke Morris takes over in the saddle from Hollie Doyle tonight.
