It’s been a frustrating couple of weeks with Aspire To Glory, as he didn’t get into the two races at Southwell we had him entered in.

There was decent prize money for both and so they were heavily oversubscribed and unfortunately, he was balloted out of both at the declaration stage.
 
We’ve entered him for a seven furlongs 46 – 52 handicap at Chelmsford this Saturday, and the initial entries suggest we should make the final 16 no problem. He takes his racing well and we’ve kept him ticking over at home, so he’s ready to go.
 
Anna Gibson is provisionally booked to ride him. She’s an apprentice with a seven pounds claim and she rode him at Kempton last time. Hopefully her claim could be a big factor, and her Kempton experience on him will be of good use here.
