Aspire To Glory set for quick turnaround to kick off his four-year-old season
Aspire To Glory was absolutely fine after his last run at Wolverhampton, he was never able to land a blow that day, but he didn’t have a particularly hard race as a result.
He’s been dropped another couple of pounds, so is now rated 43, which won’t make it easy to get him into races, but he is ready to go, so we’ll make a few entries and hope we get in a race soon enough.
Kieran [O’Neill] felt the seven furlongs trip was short enough for him now, and we certainly wouldn’t rule out trying him over further in the future, but given the challenges of getting him into a race, we’ll stick to seven and a mile for now.

We’ve put him in at Lingfield over seven furlongs on Sunday 12th January, and we’ll also enter him at Kempton on Wednesday 15th January, over a mile. Fingers-crossed he will get into one of them, and he can start going back up in the handicap with a more positive performance.
