Aspire To Glory set for a 'quiet couple of weeks' following tough Southwell race
Aspire To Glory had a tough run at Southwell on Tuesday, where he finished 9th of the 12 runners in the contest.
Despite getting restless in the stalls prior to the race starting, Aspire To Glory took off in his usual style and took a keen hold from the get-go under the guidance of Kieran O'Neill. He took up a promising position and took the race up, and fought back briefly when headed just over a furlong out. However, the length of the home straight appeared to take a bit of wind out of his sails, along with the additional weigh penalty he was carrying for his Wolverhampton win last week. He appeared to fade fairly quickly inside the final furlong and he was eased down in the closing stages, coming home in 9th place.

"Aspire To Glory is okay after his run at Southwell. He is a little bit sore behind, he got a bit worked up in the stalls so that could be why he's a touch sore today.
We'll give him a couple of easier weeks and then look to get him back in action. He was a bit of a sitting duck at Southwell, having travelled round okay, and when the others came to him he weakened.
There's a Classified over the Wolverhampton course and distance he won at on March 31st, which could be a suitable race to target."
Check back soon to find out if Aspire To Glory is on track for his return at the end of March!
