WATCH: West End Boy trots up sound the morning after Sandown run

As you can see in the video from this morning, West End Boy was none the worse for his Sandown fall yesterday, he trotted up absolutely sound. He just got a bit tired going up the hill as the ground was quite testing.
It was just a novicey mistake which can be forgiven on just his second run, and up to that point he had jumped well, and once again travelled nicely in the race.
As I say the good news is he’s absolutely fine today, he’s not showing any stiffness or soreness, so we can give him a few days rest, get him back working again, and look for his third race in the next three weeks or so.
Brendan [Powell] was really happy with him until the fall, the horse has gained more experience, and I’m in no doubt this is a lovely young horse with a nice future. I hope Leigh and Keith [owner for the day winners] enjoyed the experience.
