West End Boy has responded well to the treatment we gave him for the leg swelling he got after he knocked himself a couple of weeks ago. As we said at the time, this is a very common occurrence with horses, there’s nothing unusual about it, but it does mean we’ve had to go easy with him for a week or so, and that has ruled out the potential run at Exeter on New Year’s Day.

We’re very happy with him otherwise though, and this is a minor setback that should only delay his debut run for the Club by the week or so he’s missed, so we should get him out early in January.
