Racing Greats: Cue Card
An undoubted fan favourite in his day, Cue Card produced some spectacular performances over the course of his career. In his 41-race career, he picked up 16 victories and earned almost £1.5m in prize money for connections, the first of which came all the way back in 2010 in his debut bumper at Fontwell, before he followed that up with a remarkable eight length victory in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham.
He made a name for himself as a chaser in years to come, picking up the Grade 2 Haldon Gold Cup in 2012, before following up with wins in the Betfair Chase at Ascot and the Ryanair at Cheltenham the following year. He wasn't finished there however, as he claimed the Charlie Hall Chase and the Lancashire Chase in 2015, en-route to a nail biting victory at Kempton in the King George, where he stayed on in incredible fashion to get up on the line ahead of Vautour.
