Trainer Alice Haynes announces her retirement from training

05 Dec 2025
Coral Racing Club trainer, Alice Haynes, has announced her decision to retire from training at the end of this year.

Alice became part of the Coral Racing Club family just a few months after we launched back in November 2022, and over the last three years, she trained Aspire To Glory to win six times, as well as being placed second or third on a further four occasions, making him the club's most successful horse and earning over £28,000 in prize money for members.

Latterly, Alice also trained Pop Star for us, and while he didn't make it into the winners' enclosure in our silks, he did give everyone at the club a day to remember as he featured in the Magnolia Cup charity race at Glorious Goodwood this summer.

As a club, we also enjoyed several member stable visits, first to her Cadland Cottage base in Newmarket, and then to Kremlin Cottage following her move there. We would like to thank Alice and her team for their hard work and fantastic contribution to the club's success. We would also like to take this opportunity to wish her all the best with her future career.

What next for Aspire To Glory and Pop Star?

While Pop Star has been returned to his previous owner and will no longer race for the club, we're happy to bring you the news that Aspire To Glory will be staying in Newmarket and making the very short journey to the yard of Dylan Cunha.

We are delighted to welcome Dylan to the Coral Racing Club, and we're looking forward to introducing him officially to everyone in the near future.
