When we entered Lady Mendoza in the race at Sedgefield on Sunday, it was in the hope that the going would stay on the quick side and it would end up with a small field.

Unfortunately there is a band of rain forecast for Saturday, and that saw nine runners declared for the race, therefore, we’ve decided to give it a miss, as we’re really keen to find her a small field opportunity, as we think that will suit her. 

There are options coming up at Ayr and Newcastle, and as the jumps season steps up a gear, there will be more potential races for her too, so this should only be a short delay.
