Lady Mendoza could return to the scene of her promising debut for her next run

Lady Mendoza
It was great to meet some of you at the club stable visit last week, we’ve had some lovely messages from you, so thank you to those who got in touch, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Those of you who were at the yard would have seen Lady Mendoza do her two canters, she was a little stiff after them, as we had lost a couple of days work with her when she had a very small setback, but after a session in the solarium, by the time she was back in her box she was absolutely fine and completely sound.

The current Jumps season ends this weekend, but as she’s a mare who is definitely suited by better ground, she won’t be going on holiday just yet, and we’ll be looking to keep her running over the spring and summer months.

She’s not had much racing, but we’ve given her plenty of time to get over some small niggles, and I’m sure we’ll see a different horse on better ground.

One option is a race just up the road from here at Newcastle on Tuesday 16th May, and it's a track she ran well at on her debut so that would be a plus.
