West End Boy set for quick turnaround after Wincanton victory – latest from Joe Tizzard
I was hopeful of a big run going into that race, but to produce what he did on his opening start of the season was just fantastic.
Went End Boy has come out of that run at Wincanton really well. You wouldn’t even know he had been in a race. I just allowed him to stretch his legs on the walker on Monday and he will continue to have an easy week.
We have found a great opportunity for him at Plumpton on Monday. The handicapper does not assess him until Tuesday, so he will escape a penalty in that race. It is a 0-110 contest, and he will race off a mark of 99 once again.

Freddie Gingell gave him an excellent ride at Wincanton, and he will be aboard at Plumpton. He will be able to claim 7lb off his back this time. It is a lovely pot to race for, and hopefully, he can successfully follow up.
