Lady Mendoza is back in action for the Coral Racing Club this evening in the Class 5 Novices' Hanidcap Hurdle over three miles and half a furlong at Doncaster (16:25).

Raceday LIVE Preview
Lady Mendoza has been off the track since November of last year, where she was seen finishing a length and-a-half down in second place over two miles and four furlongs at Musselburgh. She has had entries since, but it's been a case of making sure the conditions were right for her, before putting her into another race. Thankfully the rain has relented and the ground should be on the better side of soft this weekend and she can follow up on the back-to-back places that she's achieved in her last two runs.
The weather has also impacted the conditions at Rebecca Menzies yard, with floods occurring and the gallops being rendered unusable for a period, following heavy snowfall.
Jamie Hamilton takes the reins onboard our mare on Sunday, and it'll mark the first time that's he's ridden a Coral Racing Club horse.

Prize money and Owners for the Day
Today's Class 5 contest is worth £TBC in total, with the winner set to scoop £TBC for their lucky owners.
2nd place: £TBC | 3rd place: £TBC | 4th place: £TBC
As part of the Owner for the Day competitions we launch here on the Coral Racing Club website when one of the club's horses has been entered in a race, each of the 10 lucky winners who get the chance to attend as an owner will get to take home an equal 10% split of any prize money won.
