After a hugely successful career as a jockey that included riding the only horse ever to win both the Champion Hurdle and Cheltenham Gold Cup in the name of Dawn Run, Jonjo O’Neill began his training career way back in 1986, moving to the state-of-the-art training facility, Jackdaws Castle, in 2001. He has enjoyed huge success, including training the winners of both the Cheltenham Gold Cup with Synchronised and the Grand National with Don’t Push It, and he’s the only person to register a seasonal tally of 100 winners as both a jockey and a trainer. One of the legends of the game.
